Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 11, 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to all mobile applications and games published by Phyx Games (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information our apps collect, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

Information We Collect

Anonymous Authentication

None of our games require or offer user accounts — there is no email, no password, no social sign-in, and nothing to register. Games with online multiplayer use Firebase Anonymous Authentication: your device receives a randomly generated, temporary player ID that is used only to run your game session and control access to your room. It is not linked to your name, email, or any other identity.

Online Multiplayer

Some of our games offer online multiplayer. To set up your session and connect the players in your room, we temporarily store the game-related data needed to run the match — such as the display name you choose and your in-game activity — using Google Firebase. This data is visible to the other players in your room, is kept only while it is needed to run the game, and expires shortly afterward. It is never used for profiling or advertising, and you can request deletion at any time by contacting us.

Usage Analytics & Crash Reporting

Several of our games collect anonymous usage data and crash reports to help us understand how they are played and to find and fix bugs. Depending on the game, we use trusted providers such as PostHog (hosted in the European Union) and Google Firebase.

  • This data is anonymous. It is tied to a random, per-install identifier — not to your name, email, or any account — and covers things like which features and screens are used, general gameplay events, and diagnostic information from crashes.
  • Analytics events are not designed to include the content of your games or the personal information you enter, and we are removing the limited cases where any such detail still appears.
  • Where a game offers the option, you can turn analytics off in its settings. Not every game includes an in-app toggle — contact us with any questions or deletion requests.

You can review the privacy policies of these providers at posthog.com/privacy and policies.google.com/privacy.

Advertising

Some of our games are free to play and supported by ads served by Google AdMob. In those games:

  • Banner ads appear on menu, lobby, and results screens, and occasional full-screen ads appear between games — never during a live gameplay round.
  • Where required (for example in the EU and UK), you'll see a consent form before ads are shown. You can change your choices at any time from the game's settings under “Privacy Options”. On iOS, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt also applies.
  • Depending on your consent choices, AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier to serve and measure personalized or non-personalized ads. On iOS, Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork is used for install attribution.
  • A one-time premium purchase in these games removes all ads.

You can learn how Google uses advertising data at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Information We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not offer or require user accounts — we never collect email addresses or passwords.
  • We do not collect your real name, photos, or messages.
  • We do not collect your location. Our games never request location permissions. (Analytics providers may infer a coarse, country-level region from your IP address; we disable this where the provider supports it.)
  • We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, or other sensitive device features.
  • We do not sell, profile, or advertise with your game content. In pass-and-play and LAN games, player names and game content never leave your devices or local network; in online rooms they are stored only temporarily to run the match.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

Locally Stored Data

Our apps also store preferences, settings, and user-created content (such as custom word packs) locally on your device using standard platform storage mechanisms. This data:

  • Never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it or sign in to sync it.
  • Can be deleted at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app.

In-App Purchases

Some of our apps offer optional in-app purchases. These transactions are processed entirely by the platform store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and by RevenueCat, our purchase management provider. When you make a purchase:

  • The platform store processes your payment. We do not have access to your payment details (credit card number, billing address, etc.).
  • RevenueCat receives an anonymous transaction record to verify your purchase entitlement. RevenueCat assigns a random anonymous identifier to your device; no personally identifiable information is shared. You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.

App Integrity Checks

Release builds of some of our games use Talsec freeRASP, a security library that checks whether the app is running in a tampered environment (for example a rooted or jailbroken device, a modified copy of the app, or with a debugger attached). To provide this monitoring, the library sends anonymized device-integrity information to Talsec. This is used only for security monitoring — the app never blocks you based on these checks. You can learn more about freeRASP at github.com/talsec/Free-RASP-Community.

This Website

This website carries no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking cookies. Browsing it sets nothing on your device.

Our promotional redemption page is the single exception. If you press the button there to claim a free unlock code, two things happen:

  • One cookie is set. It holds a random identifier and nothing else. Its only job is to give you the same code back if you return or reload, rather than spending a second one. It is inaccessible to scripts, and it expires after 90 days.
  • Your IP address is hashed. We store a one-way, salted hash of it so that one person cannot drain the supply of codes. We do not store the address itself, and the hash cannot be reversed back to it.

That page also runs Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-preserving alternative to a CAPTCHA, to check that a person and not an automated script is claiming the code. Neither the cookie nor the hash is used for profiling, advertising, or any purpose beyond handing out codes fairly.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect solely to provide and improve app functionality:

  • Anonymous player IDs are used to run online game sessions and control access to your room.
  • Online room data is used solely to operate the match you are playing.
  • Locally stored data is used to provide app functionality on your device.
  • Anonymous usage data is used to understand which features are used, improve gameplay, and fix crashes and bugs.
  • Advertising identifiers are used by our advertising partner to serve and measure ads in ad-supported games, subject to your consent choices.

We do not sell your personal information. Apart from the advertising described above, we do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Firebase services are operated by Google. You can review Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy and Firebase-specific data processing terms at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Beyond the services listed above, we do not integrate social media SDKs, data brokers, or cross-app tracking networks.

Children's Privacy

Our apps do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Our games do not require accounts. In games that show ads, we use Google's certified consent tooling, and personalized ads are only shown with valid consent where required by law. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, please contact us at contact@phyxgames.com and we will promptly delete it.

Data Retention

Locally stored data resides on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app. Online multiplayer rooms are temporary and are set to expire shortly after the match ends — typically within a day. Analytics and crash data are retained according to PostHog's and Google's retention policies. You may request deletion of data related to you at any time by contacting us at contact@phyxgames.com.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Cloud data stored in Firebase is protected by Google's infrastructure security. Locally stored data depends on the security of your device. We recommend keeping your device's operating system up to date and using appropriate device-level security measures (such as a passcode or biometric lock).

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate information we hold about you.
  • Deletion: You may request deletion of data related to you (such as online room data or analytics data) by contacting us at contact@phyxgames.com.
  • You can delete all locally stored app data at any time by clearing the app's data in your device settings or by uninstalling the app.
  • Opt out of analytics: in games that offer the setting, turn off analytics in the game's settings (look for an analytics or privacy toggle).
  • Manage ad consent: reopen the ads consent form via “Privacy Options” in the game's settings in ad-supported games.
  • If you have made a purchase and wish to request a refund, please contact the relevant platform store (Apple or Google) directly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective Date” at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
